In this episode of the pod, Bruce and Sam sit down and chat to Peter Dawson, CBE about his career in golf. Peter served as Secretary and later Chief-Executive of the R&A from 1999-2015, a time of great change in the professional game as Tiger Woods became the iconic figure in our sport.
We talk about Peter's own start in golf, the growth of The Open Championship, the wider responsibilities of the R&A, the amateur game, as well as Peter's role as President of the IGF, which helped to secure golf's return to the Olympics at Rio in 2016.
